For my research, I was looking for maps that I could see where the bus stops and names of the buildings for the Fredonia Campus and eventually into the surrounding community. So I chose a few maps to mark locations where compost bins could be located. I decided on two Fredonia Campus maps and used a screenshot from Google maps for the Village of Fredonia. I used hot pink as a location marker for where compost bins could be located. For the two Campus maps, I used one as a location marker for where compost bins could be placed outside and the other for where Compost bins could be placed in buildings. For the Village of Fredonia map, I selected different places in Fredonia where compost bins can be placed, whether that's the parks given to restaurants and bars that sell food.
Rhiannon Evans in the group took on a large portion of the research of the Climate Blitz project. Rhiannon suggested we do Soil trafficability since the soil traffic is very low in Fredonia. From the years 2007 to 2017, the growth and harvest of vegetables alone decreased by 66%, according to the National Agricultural Statistics Service.
